The Intensive Individual Coaching Skills Master Class (“Skills”) is devoted to teaching you the International Coach Federation Coaching Markers developed by the ICF to identify key behaviors and skills of effective coaching.
The ICF Markers are closely aligned with the new ICF Core Competencies of coaching. The course is focused on your learning the Markers and competencies as well as coaching skills that support them by drilling down, one week at a time, into each Marker.
The focus is entirely on learning the Markers and the skills of coaching. The Intensive Individual Coaching Skills MasterClass gives you the opportunity to work with Master Coach Anne Durand, who helps students begin to transform into amazing coaches.
This class focuses on giving you the coaching skills you need to be an effective and confident coach.
As a former student says, “It’s multiple months of practice in a place where it is safe to try, safe to fail, and where there is excellent guidance and feedback at every step of the way.”
If you are currently enrolled in Foundations, you can take Skills concurrently with Foundations. Many students do just that!
Is it possible to take Skills if you are not taking or have not taken Foundations? Yes, in certain situations with instructor permission.
Interested in becoming certified? Skills is a required course for certification. It is also a prerequisite for the Supervision class. And the Skill’s focus on mastering and integrating the Markers into your coaching will be vital for ultimately meeting the standards to become an ICF Certified coach.
The class meets 90 minutes each Monday for 16 weeks. Tuition for the class is $795 (+ $75 for optional CEs).
The course is focused on your learning the Markers and competencies as well as coaching skills that support them by drilling down, one week at a time, into each Marker.
The Skills class gives you the opportunity to practice, practice, practice those important core skills. While having clients will give you more opportunity to practice the skills, you aren’t required to have clients in order to take this class.
About the Class
This is an experiential, hands-on class. The information is specific, concrete, and succinct. Then it’s practice until you get it. The learning is in the doing
In learning skills, you learn how to be the container for the client’s agenda. The client has control, and as coach, you are secondary to the client. You learn how to put your intuition first and ask questions.
Intensive Individual Coaching has been a great course! It has supplied me with a number of tools to aid in my coaching and has further supplied me with experience in how to use those tools effectively either through coaching myself or through listening to others being coached by my classmates. Anne is superb in explaining the many different scenarios that can arise during a coaching session and the many different methods to deal with those situations. I feel much more equipped and confident having taken this course. –Anita Greenberg

Regular Tuition
Single Payment
$795 (+ optional CE fee*)
For CE information, see “CEs” below.
Monthly Payments
Three monthly payments of $285 (+ optional CE fee*)
For CE information, see “CEs” below.
*The CE fee is $75. Only register for CEs if you are a licensed mental health professional in the US and need CEs from one of the organizations listed in CEs below. Otherwise, when you register, indicate that you do not need the CE fee by choosing the “Base Unit Price with NO CE’s” registration option. There is a $20 fee for ICF CCEs.
There is a quirk in our registration software that requires that the field for “State” be filled in. Otherwise, it will not process your registration. So if you live in a country outside of the US, put something in the field for “State.” Where students in the US might put California or Texas, you just need to put some characters in that field. Even the word “State” itself works perfectly for this.
Coach Certification
This class is required for MentorCoach Certification. It provides 24 hours toward MentorCoach Certification for students meeting the class attendance requirement (See Attendance Requirement below.) It can also provide 24 hours toward ICF Certification via an Accredited Coach Training Program such as MentorCoach or via the ICF Portfolio Approach.

Board Continuing Education (CEs)
This class is approved for 24 hours of CEs (continuing education units) for Marriage and Family Therapists in California (CA BBS). The CE administration fee is $75. CEs for psychologists (APA) are not provided for this class.
To receive credit for CEs, students must pay the CE fee and be present for 19.5 of the 24 class hours. (See Attendance Requirements.)
Note: The CE fee is $75 and applies only if you are a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and need CEs from this organization. Otherwise, when you register, indicate that you do not need to pay the CE fee by choosing the “Base Unit Price with NO CE’s” registration option.
Attendance Requirements
To receive credit for CEs, ICF CCEUs, credit toward MentorCoach® Certification, or to receive a Certificate of Completion, students must be present for 19.5 of the 24 class hours.

Refund Policy
