MentorCoach™ One-Day Workshops
Coaching for Clinicians
This workshop gives therapists practical advice on building a small, highly
regarded telephone-coaching practice that offers significant advantages for
natural, profitable diversification. The workshop provides concrete advice
on how to structure and build a coaching practice, how to locate rewarding
clients, and how, in the process, to protect the integrity of your ongoing
clinical work.
Coaching for Clinicians is led by MentorCoach™ founder, Ben
Dean PhD.
What You Will Learn:
How properly to structure a telephone (or virtual) coaching practice which:
-
builds on clinical skills every good therapist takes for granted.
-
is a perfect fit with the 50-minute hour.
-
allows you to practice and "serve" on a national/international basis.
-
is managed-care-free (100% self-pay).
-
no longer ties you to a geographic area; can be delivered from your
office, your deck, or the beach.
-
exponentially expands your potential market and out-of-town referrals;
you jump from a local-only practice to a national/international market.
-
is life-enhancing (delivered to rewarding, high-functioning, appreciative
clients).
In Addition, the Workshop Will Cover:
-
How to test, step-by-step, if a coaching practice is for you.
-
How coaching differs clinically from the typical paradigm of a clinician
in private practice.
-
New coaching skills needed plus how to use existing skills in a new,
highly successful way.
-
Legal and ethical concerns and controversies.
-
How to coach virtual groups by telephone locally and around the world.
-
How to develop powerful marketing skills for a successful practice.
-
How to resolve ambivalence about coaching; structure time and promotional
efforts; stay energized and motivated.
-
How to use fax, email, and the Internet as powerful global marketing
tools.
-
How to build a profitable and deeply satisfying stream of clients.
