ABSTRACT:	In the late 90's, the truism in the coaching world was that no coach anywhere had ever been sued by anyone about anything; so you did not even need liability insurance. But since 1999, Eric Harris has been our consultant and led our Master Class in Ethics and Risk Management. Eric confirmed our intuition immediately that while the legal exposure is very, very low--you should, of course, carry liability insurance. And, interestingly, many helping professionals who already have liability insurance find that it also covers them while they are coaching.
